Fred Phelps - Coward

Fred Phelps is a coward, no argument there. Him and his cult are insane. He protests Fallen Soldiers funerals, and even planned to protest the funeral of Tim McLean. His websites, godhatesfags.com is basic proof that this guy is a whackjob. He is a cult leader and turns down chances to prove otherwise by Christians like Bob Dutko on his radio show found on Crawford Broadcasting Stations. People want to debate with Phelps on his stands based on scripture but he turns them down. If he believed that his crusade is God ordained he would welcome the fact. The Westboro baptist church where Phelps is the Pastor should be willing to prove their stance is scriptural but Phelps knows he can't win against a scriptural debate on his stands so he hides from the outside Church. His Church is denounced by the Baptist Church and virtually every denomination.
Phelps says "Our attitude toward what's happening with the war is the Lord is punishing this evil nation for abandoning all moral imperatives that are worth a dime." I have to say if you're so against the USA then why don't you leave?

What makes you think you deserve the cross more than anyone else?

Looking into this "Church" you clearly find that they are a cult. of the 70 members of the Westboro baptist church 60 are of the Phelps family. He thinks he's the modern day Noah, well unfortunately for Phelps when God put the rainbow in the sky He vowed to never flood the earth again. So there is no need for another Noah.

I really hope these guys mess up and get some jail time. I would have no problem driving a jeep into their protest lines. If you dig you can find the truth behind this cult.

Are you pro-life? I'm not

This is one thing I found that I have to admit. I'm not pro-life, I'm anti-abortion. It sounds a bit harsh but it describes me accurately. I'm not pro-life because I find that capitol punishment is fine in certain circumstances. That would make the term "pro-life" a bit hypocritical, at least for me.
The term "pro-life" is what is mainstream for being anti-abortion. The fact of the matter is that you cannot be pro-life if you think capitol punishment is okay.
The term "anti-abortion" sounds a bit more harsh but it's the truth for most "pro-lifers".
I wish there was a more affectionate term for my view but there isn't so I simply must go with it.

USA - Safe medical care?

I often wonder about the USA's regulatory system on pharmaceuticals. It seems every week there is a new commercial on TV of a lawyer willing to take on a case of illness or death because of a drug.
I'd think legal drugs would have a good strong regulatory system to keep them safe.
The USA could take a page from Canada's playbook. You don' see this often in Canada because we don't let just any drug on the market and have much stronger testing rules. Of course the chances of the American's taking a page from Canada or any other country's playbook no matter how beneficial are slim to none. No wonder the United States have a reputation as stuck up snobs! Their bank system is shot and the FDA clearly could use an overhaul but they wont listen because they have to be "patriotic".
